Has it really been a year that I stepped foot in the Greenwoods Amsterdam for brunch the last time? Big shame on me. Because I really like this cute little place for brunch along the canals of Amsterdam. Besides amazing brunch, very suitable for a good piece of carrot cake and some coffee. But let’s keep talking brunch for now.
Today we got even more lucky. The sun was shining and the girls (#teambrutal) joined us for a Wednesday brunch at Greenwoods. Sunday brunch is so 2017, so can we please start a new trend over here? Greenwoods recently launched #brunchoftheworld, where they dedicate their brunch every month to a certain region of the world. Sounds good to me! Our Wednesday afternoon of with the girls was a pretty good reason to go try it all out.

So before we knew it, we were down-under and nibbling on some amazing sandwich with poached eggs (runny!), sauteed spinach on top of some really good pulled pork.
Did I say I’m a real sucker for pulled pork?
The girls picked a toastie (made with cheddar!)…
and some banana bread. Deepa wasn’t too heartbroken when her mini-me couldn’t finish off this yummy banana bread French toast. She would definitely order this again!
Drinks are too easy at the Greenwoods, meaning Deepa can’t refuse a bloody mary and the fresh juices of the house are always spot on for me.
Brunch of the world
Considering the fact that Greenwoods is going on a trip around the world, we hope we can travel along and discover some more of the delicious world this way. See you next year, uhm I mean next month!
