Sproet & Sprout

SNURK Amsterdam
I have been a big fan since the very beginning of SNURK. Because which child does not want to be a fireman or princess in his or her dreams? Over the years, SNURK has evolved into a bedding brand with much more than just the kid’s quilts. I think that many homes around the world now have a SNURK in their house. Here in the house we are not averse to what sweetness at the time and SNURK was able to respond smartly. Make sure to check out their bedding and “horizontal clothing” including fancy onesies in the coolest prints. Good night!
Dutch sustainable shoe brand; Bear & Mees
Bear & Mees is a Dutch sustainable kids footwear-label, produced in Portugal and made for children in the size range 23 – 33. We make animal-friendly footwear made of vegan materials such as microfiber, felt and other fair-trade materials. Cute sneakers, beautiful sandals and bold winter boots!
Repose AMS
All the garments by Repose AMS are carefully considered and stand out for their uniqueness, quality and particularly for their sustainability, as they are committed to reducing the ecological footprint of Repose AMS as much as possible. The sizes go up to the age of 14. Well known for their use of colour. “The Bird” is the name for the new autumn/winter 2020 collection.
NOTE: The quality of Repose AMS is next level, I’ve give a lot of the items worn by my girl to the next and then on to the next person. Meaning each garment will last a long life. The gift that keeps on giving.
Carlijn Q | Happy Prints
Move over Mini Rodini, here’s CarlijnQ and she’s here to stay. Happy prints, great materials and all over good vibes. Every now and then a mom design on top of that. Love this kind of Dutch kids apparel. New collection “Happy Days” on the way.
IMPS & ELFS Amsterdam
I remember the first outfit I got from friends for B. was from this brand. Most of the items are made of organic cotton so very suitable for the smaller ones. They make a cool collection every year. Nice jeans, great sweaters and matches perfectly with your other basics.
These are the best Dutch kids brands.
Gray Label
An organic label for contemporary minimalist. A few basic items every season in a new colour or jackets. No prints here, but everything is mono. Completely in love with the long dresses by Gray Label, I immediately bought them in two colours this year.
Ammehoela Kids
Maybe you are more of a team colourful and you get excited about prints. I get that. Add organic to it and you end up at Ammehoela. A tad cheeky and very Amsterdam brand. Current collection for fall 2020 “Thriftshop”.

maed for mini
There is simply no item from the latest collection that I do not like. Actually, the only thing that is not nice is that my daughter (10) does not fit. And let’s be honest, if Merle, the sweater with the pompons (from the previous collection) below in an adult size would make, I bought it directly. The sizes go up to 8 years and the brand is also sustainable. I heard in the corridors that the first drop of the new collection flew over the counter like hotcakes, so do not wait too long.
Winter collection 2020: Easy like Sundaymorning.
Little Boomerang
And what about the sustainable brand Little Boomerang who makes clothes from old dad’s shirts. That makes me very enthusiastic. Especially that skirt on the right is too nice for words. And does the man of the house have some unworn shirts in the closet? Then just supply them. They’ll make cool items for the new generation.
ENGEL
Another Dutch brand to be cheerful about is ENGEL. As if it is a feast with them every day, if this is not the case now, they will at least be pretending. Polka dots, ice creams, elephants and lightning are the prints for their collection of travel- and schoolbags. The lightning struck me in any case when I saw the last print. Glad we are now the proud owner of this weekend bag! ⚡
Noppies
I bought my very first pregnancy jeans at Noppies, this was way before they started a baby and kids collection. But since they started their own kids brands, such a smart idea, I rediscovered them. I mean, look at this dress, simply love the sleeves!
Donsje Amsterdam
My kid may be too old for Donsje, but we don’t mind buying the cutest baby gifts for our friends over here. And these boots, ugh I’m in love, do you think they come in grown-up sizes? Their gorgeous store is located at the Willemsparkweg in Amsterdam. Just. a 5-minute bike drive from our house 🙂
